Carlo e Camilla in Segheria
Travelzoo just announced an awesome travel deal to Milan via Emirates, ending on Monday, 1/16.
If you are one of the lucky travelers who took advantage of this deal, I want to make sure you visit Carlo E Camilla, since it is one of the most thoughtfully designed spaces I've seen in a while.
Carlo e Camilla sets a romantic tone with its industrial backdrop, and blend of vintage and modern décor. It offers communal dining for 65, gorgeous mismatched dinnerware, vintage chandeliers and beautifully crafted dining chairs, which add a certain allure to the 1930s sawmill.
With a variety of textures, the brick and cement walls have been left mostly untouched by the designer, creating an elevated experience for everyone. There's something about a glamorous, yet pared down space that brings attention to even the tiniest details. Plus, there's such a sense of intimacy when you're seated among strangers.
Basically, this space is the restaurant of my dreams!
