Ever since I saw images of Carlos Mota's home in the Dominican Republic, I have been a huge fan of this amazing interior stylist. He has a wonderful flair for entertaining and takes great detail in choosing the most luxurious materials and furnishings for his home. I love how he mixes both traditional and modern aesthetics, geometric shapes, rich colors, and expressive art and sculptures into the space. He even has a framed break-up letter in his home! Overall, I would say his style, which he named "globally chic", is totally awesome meets uptown glamour meets downtown cool. Exactly how I like it.
