Traveling from NYC to Copenhagen, Denmark
My visit to Copenhagen last year was epic. At the time, I had just turned 30, was in the midst of a career change, and so welcomed my first time traveling to Scandinavia with open arms. Visiting one of the major design meccas in the world, Copenhagen, completely transformed me. Denmark was such an amazing, happy, and health-conscious country to visit. I was (and still am) obsessed with the open windows, balconies, gardens, high ceilings, and of course each design shop I came across. There was so much inspiration around me and everything felt effortlessly cool. I daydreamed about wearing a cool black dress with a leather book bag & sunnies while riding a bike with a flower basket in front. The only thing that held me back was the actual riding of a bike. Gotta add that to my to-learn list. In the meantime, I am still trying to figure out how to move there permanently. One day I hope!
